Cover Image Upload Guidelines for POTHSARA Online Bookstore
Thank you for publishing with POTHSARA. To make sure your book looks professional on our website and app, please upload your cover image according to the guidelines below.
1. File Requirements

2. Design & Content Guidelines
1. Front Cover Only
This upload is for web display only. Do NOT include the spine, back cover, or barcode. We will only show the front cover on the product page and in search results.
2. Use the 2:3 Ratio
The 2:3 ratio is the industry standard for online bookstores. It displays correctly on desktop, mobile, and category grids. If your cover is not 2:3, please crop it before uploading.
Example sizes: 1000×1500px, 1200×1800px, 1600×2400px
3. Keep Text Safe
Keep your Title, Author Name, and any important design elements at least 80px away from all edges. This helps prevent text and important elements from appearing cut off on different screen sizes.
4. Image Quality
Your cover should be clear and sharp. Avoid blurry images or text. Save your JPG at approximately 70–80% quality to keep the file under 1MB without significantly reducing image quality.
You can use free online image compression tools such as TinyJPG to reduce the file size.
5. No Extra Elements
Do not add “Bestseller”, “Award Winning”, or price stickers to the cover image. We will add those badges automatically on the website.
3. Important: Web vs Print
Please note that this web image is NOT your print file.

Important: Uploading the wrong file type may delay your book listing.
4. How to Check Your File Before Uploading
- Open your image file.
- Right-click the image and select Properties > Details. Check that the dimensions are at least 1200×1800px.
- Right-click the image and select Properties > General. Check that the file size is under 1.0 MB.
- Open the image and zoom to 100%. Check that the title, author name, and other important text are clear and readable.
